Our history

AIS Group is the natural evolution of decades of specialised work in industrial automation across Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands, brought together under a shared brand and a shared technology platform.

1998

Operations in Ireland

AIS Ltd is established in Dublin to serve the booming life sciences and FMCG sectors in Ireland with labelling, coding and inspection.

2012

Vision systems in Spain

AIS Vision Systems opens in Sabadell, Barcelona, becoming a reference in machine vision and deep learning for the Iberian and Latin American markets.

2013

Benelux barcode specialists

AIS Scanology B.V. is founded in Beugen, Netherlands, as the Benelux specialist in barcode verification and label inspection — official partner of Axicon, Omron and Global Vision.

2021

Industrial AI is born

Rosepetal AI is founded in Sabadell to build a no-code industrial AI vision platform, designed for the realities of the shop floor.

2022

Turnkey automation

AIS Automation Ltd is launched in Dundalk, Ireland, to deliver bespoke turnkey automation cells to regulated industries — design, build and deliver.

2024

AIS Group is formed

The five companies unify their identity and roadmap as AIS Group, around a shared mission to deliver industrial intelligence at scale.

2026

Unified AI platform

Rosepetal’s AI platform becomes the standard inspection layer across all group companies, enabling a true cross-border industrial AI offering.

AIS Group operates from four sites across Europe: Dublin (the oldest, since 1998), Sabadell in Barcelona (home to AIS Vision Systems and Rosepetal AI), Beugen in the Netherlands and Dundalk in Ireland.
